MiBand are nifty and underrated fitness trackers. I love my MiBand 5 with its 18-22 day battery life and feature packed screen and app (esp now its been moved to Zeep).
Downside is its inability to to multitask. You have to switch between fitness and countdown aps. That sucks. Straps too are flimsy and fray within a year.
The upgraded MiBands seem to have bigger and brighter screens - meaning shorter battery life - with exactly the same apps and mono-task challenges. Still, lovely & value-for-money devices.
My take - newer model doesn't necessarily better model.

Think the flat all-display is better for navigation, and for bigger content on-screen.
However, the big big problem is NFC. If the Band7 (international) doesn't come with NFC that can be used for payment (eg Mastercard, Visa, Google Pay, etc) then it offers nothing tangible over the Mi Band 6.

Other than blood oxygen and comparatively large display of MI band 6, MI band 5 is far better.
MI should bri g back button feature because it helps fast browsing in menus

Anonymous, 20 May 2022Overpriced...Amazfit is way better than Galaxy and any othe... moreEven though amazfit smartwatches have great design, loads of features and accessible prices, the scientific reviews for their sensors, mainly the heart rate sensor, ranks them as one worst performers, not just their budget friendly watches, but their flagships as well.
If fitness tracking and health tracking is what you look for in a smartband/smartwatch avoid these.
On the other hand the mi band 6 has very decent accuracy, and outperforms almost all other smartbands on the market.

The fact that mi bands have reaches almost 50euro is a disappointing. You can find with a bit more money smartwatches like Huawei GT 2e.
Mi Bands should cost under 40euro day one.

Have a mi band 4 and thinking may... moreI would upgrade to a newer mi band just to get rid of the annoying charger that previous mi bands have and the bigger screen is always nice to have.
The most annoying thing i remember from my mi band 4 was the stupid charging that you cant charge your band with the strap on.

I bought MB6 NFC version for 35 euro, and I am happy with it. 12 days without charging, blood oxygen and heart rate, the best part is Xiaomi pay. I have also Galaxy watch, but I am using them only for sports ... it is quite annoying to charge them daily. Mi band works just fine for the price.
