Huawei confirms that its partnership with Leica has ended

The two companies have been collaborating on building some of the best smartphone cameras since 2016.

    Video quality only got decent with Mate 30 series.

      Government of USA (now and all previous) not even care with basic things like education and health. Zero concern about brand A or B selling more than Apple.

      Huawei would not be in this position if the company was not seen as agent of their government.

        You did well for things you couldn't do yourself you helped pioneer some ideas no other oem even thought of

        Sadly with Samsung and Apple at the top all we can look forward to is their super lazy complacent behaviour with almost zero innovation

        I'm not sure if Xiaomi can do it but I hope so.. I'd say only oppo and Vivo have some true pioneering spirit left oppo in their charging solutions

        And Vivo with their dedication to trying new things through their apex project

Now they probably learned and they do not need them since now they have huawei XD and huawei optics branding. I guess we will find out in a couple of months.

                  Leica is just a name used for marketing purpose. First they were the marketing partner with Huawei, and now with Xiaomi. That doesn't really make a difference to the camera performance of any smartphone.
