    We live in a time when people review a smartphone without ever opening the back panel. So brands don't need good engineering to Convince people... They just need good marketing guys

      The mobile phones has no moving components like the automatic watches I do not think people will be fascinated about the transperent back

        Definitely digging the transparent back. I don't see the need for wireless charging, so I won't bother much about it.

          "Recycled aluminium". At this point that's "normal aluminium" because the scrapped stuff gets reused anyway. Pure marketing speak.
          Probably runs off recycled electricity too.
          (Note that if you only charge your phone wirelessly and use wireless earphones, it uses exactly the same electrons over and over throughout its entire life.)

            Although I am excited about this phone, I really don't see how it could be any "different" from something else on the market already. Everything has kinda been done at this point. Rear cameras? Most flagships have 3-5 actual cameras on the back. Cheap price? Realme has been pretty good at keeping prices low for flagship level specs. Under display selfie? We've already seen that from ZTE. Transparent back? Theres been quite a few phones already with transparent backs so that isn't really new and most people (not everyone) is just going to slap a case on their phone anyways.

            I'm still excited for this but what really matters to me is a few things, overall performance, battery life, and price. If they can deliver something very close to like the OP 10 Pro level phone but be at a price point closer to the Realme flagship killers then I'd consider this a success.

                    Pete Lau and Carl Pei of Oppo were founders of oneplsu although most shares belongs to Oppo which is subsidary of BBK Electrinics still founders were Pete Lau and Carl pei not Oppo or BBK Electronics.

                            i don't understand what's so special about this phone.

                              To make strong impression of their first phone, they need to bring value/money for their first phone to attract consumer to buy, when people realize their phone is good enough people won't mind to spend more money on their next phone
