"Razr big external screen is still there, putting to shame the Galaxy Z Flip3's effort"

Just don't put yourself to shame expecting big things from Motorola flop phone. I like Motorola, especially what they do with their bar phones, but they had a chance to revive Razr legacy with a bang and it's been nothing but expensive media hyped flop ever since the first attempt. Flip4 will be better even with that small external screen imo.

Bad move. RAZR's appeal was it's iconic design. This new one doesn't really resemble a RAZR.

Still, I'm happy to see more & more clamshell phones coming into the market. It feels nostalgic.

The Flip, 25 May 2022Not worth it for $1400 which I believe Motorola/Lenovo will... moreMan still worth more than samsung with its bloatware UI,
At least Razr were always know for beautification factor which no other folding phone ever had.
Maybe apart the first fold game of thrones edition made by caviar but thats it.

reminds me to embrace Motorola again, decades after StarTAC

If they can launch globally with real availability the Flip 4 is dead. DEAD! 🥳 It's time someone shows Samsung iterative changes isn't enough. Nice Motorola 👌

Why did they kill the only standout feature of this phone (retro design).

Lol I actually clicked way too fast because I thought it said Razer Phone 3 but it's talking about Motorola's RAZR. I haven't been a fan of flip phones since they were all the rage back when Motorola was just absolutely throwing phones out of Boost Mobile's butthole.

Not worth it for $1400 which I believe Motorola/Lenovo will be asking for. It's basically looks like a Flip 3 / 4 with a far more useful 3-inch cover display. It longer looks like an iconic RAZR with its iconic chin and camera being centered.

I'll be keeping my Razr 5G as it's probably the last Razr to look like a RAZR. The last sexy one that isn't trying to be a Flip clone. I only got it for $500 which is about right for it. But I'm still open to buying this Razr 3 if I can get it for under $800. That probably won't happen until 12 months later. I can't tolerate Snapdragon 765G forever.

Other details still aren't there yet. Like does it have wireless charging? That's one major annoyance with my Razr 5G which lacks it. And it looks like it won't have Flex mode like the Z Flips have. Flex mode is just as useful as having a big cover display. I enjoy playing my GameCube games in Flex mode while using a Bluetooth controller.
