Sony can't even even release sec... moreDude, the one who controlled the gaming circulation application is different from the one control the Xperia division and its application (Xperia Transfer 2, etc.) despite both having the software available for mobile (Android or iOS). It's just like saying the one who released Sony Bank app is Sony Electronics when the one who published it is Sony Financial Holdings.

But scap... moreMicrosoft knew from the beginning that relying exclusively on hardware is not a good idea that's why they kept pc gaming alive even when they had xbox. (Gaming is the only category where Apple regrets it's decision same as Microsoft does for mobile)
PC gaming has the biggest advantage that it doesn't end like consoles where games are dependent on platforms. Any modern pc can run any games made for it but same is not true for consoles.
Also sony got it right with their future mobile gaming ideas because mobile gaming is pretty much full of junk except few games, despite significant upgrade in the compute power of smartphones. It will be good to see AAA games made/ported to mobiles.
In the beginning if smartphones Gameloft was making some very good attempt at this like prince of persia warrior within for iphone, splinter cell, Avatar, Assassin's Creed etc.
It is a dream that devlopers make mobile versions of red-dead redemption, far cry, Assassin's creed, last of us, uncharted etc.

Tons of games means nothing if they are not updated and improved via updates and add-ons.
Such as Grim dawn had 3 add-on.
World of Warcraft had tons of add-ons and updates from release date up to since.
Making game for a one day or night to play and then forget about it makes no sense.

I use Lemuroid for PSP ROMs. Vita slim + smartphone with Snap845 minimum can pretty much cover pretty much all PS1, PS2, and PSP games.
I do have less faith with Sony since Jim Ryan took over. Each PlayStation did last at least 10 years in the market. But where Sony is headed with higher-priced subscriptions is concerning. Vita got an update that longer works with PS3. And eventually, the store will close down. So better get all the games you want for it.

You make a gaming console at a loss to sell games. But scaplers buy your console, and no-one buy your games.
Sony just say, screw that.. and make more games. more profit. Those that wants console click and play.. without knowing how to operate pc will go use mobile.
