Mage, 30 May 2022SD 7 Gen 1 is terrible compared to 8100I wouldn't jump straight to that conclusion since there is still no real-world comparison between the two. I'll wait until GSMArena do a full review on both the Pro and Pro+ model of the Reno8.

Considering that the OnePlus Ace Racing is also powered by Dimensity 8100-Max chipset and has a headphone jack, the Pro+ isn't for me. Since the Pro use the same camera hardware alongside the MariSilicon X custom ISP chip as the Pro+ and is powered by the latest Snapdragon upper-midrange chipset, that might be the one I'd go for. However, I can't help but think that OnePlus will eventually utilize the new Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset for the future Nord model.

From Oppo Reno7 series to Reno8 series, nothing much changed. Different processor and higher capacity charger on Reno8 series, but the camera are the same. No OIS, no telephoto, no periscope camera. Price must more expensive.

not including even the low quality 8mp ultrawide on standard Reno series it's a poor decision, make their Reno lineup even feels more overpriced, and It's not even their "Lite" version or Z or F whatever they called that. In Reno5 series, even their lite version had ultrawide camera.

Pro variant looks good on paper, its a more efficient 888 without a heater core.More than enough to emulate ps2 at 2x.I hope they price it at under 30k in india.

Not even better than my phone and I bought one year ago one year old for less.
If they used 108mp ultra wide it would be more refreshing than just this boring thing.
