Their name is sure not as strong as Apple, they have a "shared" OS which is Android which means anyone can easily compete with them, and they remove SD card and what not. They removed 99% of all features that made their name (infrared, SD card, blood monitor, etc). Samsung is for sure not anymore a overpriced brand I recommend.

      Samsung dropped sd card support from their top phones. I am never buying a samsung flagship again. I still love my S9 though.

      Samsung are copying the worst parts of apple.

One th... moreMY wife has the A51 and I have the A71, and it's the same thing, she gets monthly and I get every 3 months. I did get Android 12 before she did though 🙂 The A51 was the best selling phone of any brand in my country and one of the best in the world, so of course Samsung is going to take care of the majority of customers. Great phones I might add, both got updated camera apps and take better pictures than before, then the Android 12 update added more features! GSM Arena should go back and do a review of the A51 one too see how it's holding up.

One thing I noticed is on the Samsung security update page, the A33 and A73 is getting quarterly security updates while the A53 is monthly. It makes sense for A53 because it is Samsung's best selling model after all, but not really good for the users of the more expensive A73.

                        I hope they(all manufacturers) fall back in on the over production trend. At least with reason on Inflation and fall in demand due to geopolitical factors, it's getting reduced !

                          First they blamed covid for low sales of s20 line, for s21 a bit as well, now the sales of s22 line are low because of war in Ukraine. And none of it is their fault 😂
                          I am curious to see how are the sales of A53 and A73 models now when they removed headphone jack from them and added exynos in one.
                          Someone remove TM Roh from his position. When DJ Koh f'd up with removing sd card, he brought it back on the next model.
                          I am sure they know that Samsung fans hate that there are no sd card slot, headphone jack, charger in the box and many more features that they removed from their now overpriced phones but they don't want to admit that it's their mistake.

                                This is very good news. I hope all companies have to reduce their production as extreme production is destroying the planet.

                                And not just consumer electronic companies, you go to a supermarket and you will see ten thousand varieties of every product. The world is awash in extreme levels of production and consumption. Do we really need ten thousand varieties of ketchup?

                                        their flagships used to cost half the price 10-12 years ago.
                                        They could offer their current flagships at 30% less price and still make tons of profit but they don't because they have enough idiots buying them, same reason why apple still uses 2-3 year tech than android, why not if people are still buying?i'd do the same.
