Daany, 31 May 20228+ Gen 1? That is not an intelligent naming scheme...This is Qualcomm we're talking about. None of their naming schemes make any kind of sense. They don't define generations with leading number like everyone else, they use it in some inverted bizarre way with series as leading number and generation as the last number.

1440p/QHD is 2.5K.
Number of K's is linked to the horizontal resolution.
Examples:
2K - approx 2000 pixels - 1920/2048 x 1080 - Also known as FullHD/1080p
2.5K - Approx 2500 pixels - 2560 x 1440 - Also known as QuadHD/QHD/1440p
4K - approx 4000 pixels - 3840/4096 x 2160 - Also known as 2160p

The problem side mounted is that it's small so gets difficult to use with many protective cases. Also if you're into modding, many ROMs don't support press then unlock option.

Too little storage, no card slot, no 3.5mm headphone jack. NO thanks. The old Poco series were unsurpassed in this regard. They had everything except overheating. A true flagship killer. Guess Xiaomi got tired gimping their own top of the line sales, so K50 is just "meh".
