Previously, the phone leaked as the Xcover Pro 2, but leaks point to a new name.

I used to be a samsung fan and bought every third generation note model after several years of use.

almost everything samsung has released in the last few years is useless, very poorly engineered and an ecological disaster.
when will they finally stop with the edge screen shitty things, when will they install a microSD card slot again, when will they install a user replaceable battery again, with a usable capacity that is not already empty after 4 hours of use!!!
With the exception of one or two manufacturers, all smartphone manufacturers are environmental destroyers.

      When will they add Snapdragon 8.. chipset and OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) in camera of the XCover series?

      It's shame that people always care about useless things like screen refresh rate and 50MP camera (gimmick). Give it Snapdragon 8.. chipset and OIS! The last phone that has OIS, Snapdragon 8.. chipset AND removable battery is LG V20. Modern smartphones are horrible.

        The dimensions are disappointing for sure. 80 mm wide? No way I'm operating that monster with one hand while taking photos of bolt connections 60 m above the ground level. No way I'm checking the map on it while cycling.

                        It's all about usage for some who like it but I don't.

                          I remain skeptical of the specs. If one follows the sources over multiple steps it looks like the specifications are just the recycled speculations from March. Only the renders are actually new.

                              Ive been happy with the Active series but getting tired of waiting for a decent replacement. Im actually starting to consider alternative brands for a rugged phone after over a decade with Samsung

                                    Motorola Defy had simmilar specs for 250 this going to be very costly.
                                    Miss good old adventure versions of Samsung flagships.
                                    Such as S8 active for example.
