I would say 99% of people don't care about updates, usually they just look at the price and specs and that's it. Only people who stays on sites like GSMArena and others like this care about updates, a normal user really doesn't care as long as the device works as it should.

Why would Motorola do this or allow T-Mobile or any other carriers to sell a product that not keeping us safe or or personal info I tired returning mine mine seem to keep things I don't want to view like cartoon I don't watch cartoon an my info always seem to get hack

Bezels on the new budget line up e.g. G52 and G82 pretty much moto flagship level. Oddly enough, both G42 and G62 have thicker chin.

Need replacement for my ancient snapdragon 435 phone. Hopefully some phone with snapdragon 480 will be available locally for usd 150. Low hopes though.... Everything here is overpriced

I am quite surprised that G62 will not use snapdragon 695 like G82 since G42 will uses the same chip as G52.

For these specs i would be willing to pay only 150 euro. Only 4GB ram and 128GB storage version. The 120hz AMOLED is nice but the SD480 is the most low end chip even tough it's gpu is good enough to run candy crush on 120fps if thats possible for that 120hz screen.
Popular games want a lot from modern day hardware. But the gaming is not part of the point on this phone i understand that.
For 250-300 euro this thing will be a bit expensive when on that price you can get phones that have from SD860 to 888 even. Also top end of 7 and 6 series with all type of camera features based on different brands.

I'll never buy a Motorola phone again, there updates are just shocking, why would anyone shell out for a fone that will only get on os updates, and 2 years of security, and that will proberly be every 3 months instead of every Month.

if you want to look for an small android phones, then its complicated, asus zenfone 8 has 5.9 inch. and is expensive too

Yes I'm old, but i don't get the size.. 2 days ago saw a lady texting and the phone almost completely hid her face. The thing was almost as long as her torso lol. Looked like a kid walking around with a flat brick (no purse and no pocket fit thst beast. We need adult phones as well, not just huge things for kids or adults who can't afford a laptop on top of a phone.. Good thing we have good smartwatches now, not pulling out a tablet phone to read/send texts or short emails. I enjoy seeung folks walj with 60% of a phone sticking out the pocket..as funny as seeing folks walk into parking meters while looking at their phones.
