Sony only acts as quality.
Like magician preforming magic on talent show.
You know its just a illusion, fake magic no real magic trick but the performance is good.
Its like with Sony they act as great but they are no magic just illusion of reality which are Bose, Sennheiser, Yamaha, Pioneer, Harman Kardon and many else.

Frequency response on Sony Srsx99 is at 20.000khz and bass at 50hz, same goes too sx88 zr5,
Those don't even have flute rich connections and WiFi dlna, and the built is garbage plastic.

I payed £660 used Sony srsx99, and Sr77 £250with super tweeters and 9 speakers built in. You can hear saliva off the singers, and breathing intake, and hidden instruments being played.
You can't hear any off those on any other brands.

My xb31 is trashed, both drivers are blown, despite using them at half volume, one,two times A MONTH!
I ordered a 50 euro Tronsmart speaker, it sounds 10 times better, with 1000 times better treble, boomy bass even at max volume, and decent battery.
Never sony again

In case of JBL they are definitely equal for 1/4 of Sony price. And JBL dont cooperate with Sony.

The soudstage is garbage, no spacious sound, no instrument separation, not spacious, no micro fine detail you can't even pinpoint qevaery instrument being played.
You can't even pair 2 speakers for stereo, sony has upto 16 speakers you can pair,
Sony has hdmi input, usb, WiFi, ethernet, was, and loads functions
Sony does excel in these

Flip 6 from JBL i can have from mine company for as low as 75 and does same tricks and the sound quality is at least equal if not better than the speaker for 300.
