Meanwhile Samsung's gonna stick with 45W at best.

Hope this is compatible with the new USB-PD standard that can do up to 240W.

that kills the battery much faster!
physics cannot be cheated, heat development accelerates the ageing process and kills the battery after a few dozen charging cycles,
only marketing can lie about physics... and those who believe this propaganda have only themselves to blame
there is an urgent need for EU legislation that allows batteries to be replaced without tools,
everyone talks about sustainability but these are just marketing lies to sell more products - nothing more.

I am still happy at 20Watt ,30Watt , 50Watt Vooc charging. They are plenty fast enough for any usage for 2 years.

cmon why 200w!! not enough!! we want 500w

Is this charger based on VOOC tech? Whats need to compete on VOOC charger is not only how fast and safe it can charge, but also how much the price offerred to end user. It's no point to make it 3-5 times more expensive than QC or PD counterparts while the differences are minimal.

I know that no body ever bring this to discussion in GSM Arena but I do shocked with the VOOC charger replacement prices.

Disregard it if this article has nothing to do to VOOC.
