And therefore that the demand is never the limiting factor at Apple products but the supply, it's easy to tell that they'll simply sell as much as they could produce in that certain time.

Apple sells premium products. It's shameful to have 8GB in any new machine that comes out today. 16GB should be minimum in any non-tablet computer.
And yes, MacOS manages memory far better than Windows, but 8GB is barely enough for the lightest use cases. Gotta give today's bloated software room to bloat.

If this is true then wouldn't they have to announce it today? We're almost at the end of Q2.

Mac mini tower? Interesting... I'm taking a guess that its a mid-way point between the standard M1 Mac mini and the M1 Max/Ultra Mac Studio.
Will probably be slightly thicker than a standard Mac mini to add better cooling for the Pro chip, but not as t h i c c as the Studio.
OR like the name implies it could just straight up be a mini tower PC, like a small Mac Pro. We'll see.
(also here inb4 people call the M2 MacBook Air ugly and I wouldn't blame them but I don't think it looks that bad, it's just the notch that makes it look weird)
