Having good cameras is just part of the equation, there is the usual overall experience that needs to be considered, just like what huawei flagships has, they may have the best cameras on the planet, but without google, are practically useless outside of China.

Marketing gimmick by these chinese oems. Leica, Zeiss, Hasselbad. They know they can't match the Galaxy and the iPhone, so they resort to this marketing gimmick, aside from the crazy charging speeds.

no matter how improved camera specs,there are drawbacks of xiaomi,too. like lack of stable and long software support. worldwide after sales channels and spare parts avaliability. number and quality of compatible accessories. last but not the least,it is a newbie outside of china so, no average premium customer has trust in the brand yet. these are the reasons why xiaomi cannot sell flagsips with the same price with apple or samsung flagships.

I don't like hydrogel. For some reason I find it much harder to type on then glass or the P. E.T stuff.
