Why is it when detailing where the phone will be available they're all in alphabetical order except for middle east? What kind of subtle nonsense is this?

No way I'm splurging 900+ without any review or feedback of any kind ... Specially how ZTE made some software. And don't want to spend another 2 for a fake 50 discount, I'm eager to see how the UD and other cameras perfoms!

Fitz, 08 Jun 2022Then get the S22ULTRA and stop complaining like a baby........ moreIf you had reading comprehension skills, you would have noticed what I said in the first sentence of the second paragraph of my original comment. And no I did not expect ZTE to sell it for $500, I was just pointing out some thoughts for someone else in my position, living in the US and debating between S22 Ultra and Axon 40 Ultra. If you don't live in the US or you'd never consider a Samsung or whatever, you can just ignore my comment.
I wasn't hating on ZTE, I love what they did with the UDC and was strongly considering the Axon 40 Ultra as my main Android phone, but ended up going for the S22U.

DMX, 08 Jun 2022Do what I do this year, I'll switch to ios and save yo... moreMost people who buy Android flagships buy it because they don't like iPhones (either the phone itself, or iOS), so there's no "switching" for them. Same is applicable for iPhone users as well. Most iPhone users won't be willing to switch to comparable Android models either (mostly because they want that half-eaten Apple logo on the back).

rizki1, 08 Jun 2022256GB in china is $750 and global 128GB is $800.. your opin... moreIt is produced in china, so there's no export cost over there. But when sold in global markets, they will have to pay marketing & export costs. So it's understandable that the pricing is not same for every location.
Also, most Android phones get decent price drops within a few months of release. So waiting a little could get you this phone for your preferred price.

I originally wanted this phone really bad because of completely uninterrupted display thanks to UDC but price is too high compared to the S22 Ultra, at least in the US with the extremely low popularity of ZTE. I'm talking about actual money spent after all promotions and after re-selling since I only keep my devices for a year.
I just bought the s22U, 256 for about $600 with all promotions and discounts (~$150 after cashback + ~$450 for cracked S21U trade in from eBay), but in a year I should be able to sell it for at least those $600 or even a bit more in the pre-owned market.
For the Axon 40 Ultra I'd have to pay $850 and if I'm lucky to find a buyer in a year, they would pay probably $350-$450 at most, so actual out of pocket would be $400-$500.
The S22U is superior in every single way except for the under display camera and charging speed. But ZTE is missing all OneUI features (DeX, bixby routines & bixby voice commands, GoodLock, OneHand Operation+, etc, etc.), wireless charging, water resistance, software support, better security (Knox), gorilla glass victus+, 10x periscope camera for up to 100x hybrid zoom, better camera system overall, S-PEN, faster and more secure ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, QHD+ resolution, MUCH better compatible cases/accesories selection and and the list goes on and on.

Anonymous, 08 Jun 2022People that live in islands do get phones. Not fair. atleast they are not getting a crappy midrange that priced like crazy.
in indonesia, i cant get a nice phone to start upgrading. i always get a midrange that feels the same but a different ram and storage. now thats what call it unfair.
