Anonymous, 08 Jun 2022Are you trolling or what? The Switch isn't a phone.Yeah but playing AAA games online wherever you go without needing an expensive Hotspot or super unsecure wifi hotspots? That would be fantastic.

Kuba, 08 Jun 2022Another useless feature but still after 14 years of iPhone ... moreWhich is a minor annoyance, not a major one. You can still drag them anywhere you want and organize them in folder, you just can't have empty space between icons. Is that really THAT important?

Anonymous, 08 Jun 2022What would Nintendo get from that?Money. iPhones are the most popular phones amongst casuals and people who don't tinker. Even though Android, we have John GBA, Dolphin, etc, Apple has nothing. Nintendo makes ROM files (or cloud-based using AWS or something) that you have to pay to either own them or via subscription like Nintendo Online and boom: money.
I personally wouldn't be a fan but you have to admit, Nintendo could do wonders with this collaboration. It's even future-proof since they could start with GBA/GBC and NES games to work their way into SNES and even get Sega to make money with Genesis.

Wouldn't it be nuts if this was the start of Apple collaborating with Nintendo to offer official Nintendo emulation on iPhones by creating a NintendiPhone? That would be really interesting.

Anonymous, 07 Jun 2022Well, surprised that they brought support to an external br... moreConsidering how well the Switch sold, it's better for them to do that since they can splurge any money from 'MadeFor iPhone/iPod' line and third party is gone with the (finaly!) vote on the USB C :)

I do think Android will get this support eventually since Skyline continues to improve. I think in 5 years, we'll have decent Switch emulation along with okay PS3 emulation. Our current phones aren't even powerful enough for Wii U that a PC can do via Cemu.

Well, surprised that they brought support to an external brand to connect to their devices. It is maybe not the first time, but it is so much rare.
