Olympus Oms, 09 Jun 2022Well, at least they have you. Probably as their only fan. Wouldn't call myself a fan as such, not since the days of the Hero, Legend and original Desire. More a casual observer, one who appreciates that HTC did more to help popularize Android in those early days than any other OEM.

    A flagship would be appreciated! And if priced right, it could come global.

          Also, the lack of it is why they have steadier footage of all three cameras even with same level of crop applied by the EIS.

                        While for a Newcomer to the Smartphone business making a food phone may be difficult, it is shocking why LG and HTC make phones that very few people wanna buy.
                        Most components are Off The Shelf, and Design by Random Amatuer Tech Designers online are superb too, so not sure what's wrong with the Management at these Phone OEMs.

                        1. Just pick up 3 good 12MP sensor with 3 zoom ranges, ultrawide, wide and and 3x zoom, all with OIS and superb Night and HDR photos.
                        2. Have an LCD with 120hz refresh and atleast 500 nits brightness.
                        3. Have a Plastic body with Gorilla glass 4 back.
                        4. Have the Snapdragon 1 Gen 1 CPU.
                        5. Promise 3 major updates and 3 years of service.
                        6. Have headphone jack and MicroSD support.
                        7. Price it at $599 at launch, and aim for the best Premium Mid Ranger title.

                              Those curves look really familiar to what they had on the U12+, so here's hoping they are taking off from there and make something solid.

                              Since it's 5G focused, I'm expecting a SD 700 series CPU, 8gb ram, 128gb UFS, 64MP Camera along with useless sensors just for marketing, and a punch hole screen, probably an LCD due to the pixel density.

                                    I hardly believe people still have HTC phone nowadays.
                                    Also i hardly believe they can make something new or something that's not on the market already. Samsung and Apple covered pretty much everything.

                                      I always loved my HTC phones. It's sad what they've become. I'd love to see them come out with some good upper-mid and high range phones.

                                      Their phones were always very good tech spec and quality-wise, but their advertising sucked and they didn't follow the trends with bezels and such.

                                      I'd lover to see a comeback, but I'm not holding my breath.
