Oh man. I was excited for a 8+ Gen 1 S22 FE that I could get next year when it was discounted. The A53 is not a great deal and just a bit too big for me, the S21 FE was good but had SD888.

My choices for phones to upgrade my OP6 from are dwindling. Seems like the next Pixel A device is my only option.

Bebochekov, 16 Jun 2022Samsung should make a Samsung Galaxy A Ultra, flagship killer I want Galaxy A93 with snapdragon 8+gen1 and 2k display.

Samsung may as well give a Lite version as they did before with the S10 Lite and Note10 Lite. There's absolutely zero point giving a so-called "Fan Edition" if there's no headphone jack and microSD card support.

The S22 probably couldn't have a bigger battery, they didn't just reduce the display size, it's a different aspect ratio and it smaller chin than the S21, no space.

                About time !!!

Of course, it is not possible to put all components of their bigger brothers due to size constraints, but they are very small when compared to other smartphones.

Great!!! I was absolutely sick of hearing about Crappy S series FE phone.

Seriously Hated those phones and those phones only belonged to garbage.

They were promoted too much for what is a repackage plastic phone.

                    Rest in pi*s

It wasn't even needed after the first iteration
The s20 fe came in £200 less at £699 and with a SD865 for all markets rather than just US and China. The exynos 990 was a terrible chip and had major issues with battery life
The vanilla s21 fixed 90% of those problems and managed to come in £130 cheaper from the previous model at £769 by shaving some very neglible features. Exynos 2100 was far more competitive with the SD888 too. The FE just didn't really have much of a Job to do.

My suggestion: Samsung need to develop a compact version of the Ultra/Note. Samsung's most premium phone with all its premium features, s pen and camera tech, but a far nicer fit in the hand, kind of like how apple does pro and pro max. The OG Note 10 was the perfect size.

Samsung is a conglomerate. They operate as independent companies and there is no loyalty to other companies within Samsung.

FE has worse screen, slower RAM, smaller super wide camera sensor, base 6GB, crap 1/4.5" third camera (very similar used by 10iv, a midrange phone), poor endurance for a FHD/4500mAh combo

                                      It is really Failure Edition

What a shame. I guess that was too good value for them. They want to go on that apple path, nickle and dime their userbase.
