xiaomi becoming the new huawei. i dont mind them using small market chip vendors but there are a lot of lesser shady chinese companies out there not located in mainland china.

If Surge S2 got released.... it would be another story.
Also, an LG V50 cost 150 dollars in China.
PS: Don't buy the US one, is from Verizon and if you live in the US or Canada you are likely to have issues.

Redmi 8A pro, S... morei dont want another xiaomi as i use them as secondary video recorder. they will apply the heaviest noise suppression which they sound like a phone call. the oppo a3s does well in terms of microphone quality. also i tried using the redmi 8a as an replacement of my broken a3s and it didnt go well...

Just buy an old flagship for around 100-150$ and you'll have a way better phone.. this thing is never gonna get software updates anyways..

It seems that the global crisis is so bad, that they now try to get shady chips to keep the prices low. We will see just how low, though.

it seems Xiaomi not want Unisoc processor for some reason, they are tons other low end phones with it except Xiaomi. But no problem for me, let's see how it goes this brand new processor.
