On the one hand, more mid-range and even less priced phones have started to offer under display fingerprint.. Xiaomi has started to move backward by giving side mounted fingerprint this year in almost every device except 12 series. Looks like they don't want to make any device an all-rounder deal in there already overpriced phones!

Zero reason... moreFunny story the ORIGINAL F4 and F4 Pro were supposed to be the K50 and K50 Pro
Both got canned and the OG F4 got replaced by this one which no one wants to buy it. Maybe it can be a sure failure like the "X4 Pro".

This F4 (K40s) is so useless and unnecessary.
Zero reason over K 30 or K40 series.

Such annoying choices in xiaomi's garden nowadays. Literally you can't find a decent phone that gives you a whole package. If you got the chip you don't have a camera, if is camera there's no battery etc.

Your specs page says the F4 will come with a plastic back. That will be extremely sad and disgusting. The F3 used premium materials which was quite unique in that price range.

€ < 430 is good but isn't great especially for the X4 GT
