I'm not surprised. They shot themself in the foot when they ruined the A series and started copying Apple by not shipping accessories.

A series is over expensive, mny people know it

What happens when you make 'midrange' A series expensive in Asia?

Maybe this will teach Samsung a lesson of not taking its supporters for granted. Who am I kidding. Next year, Samsung will put subpar Exynos into more models and even take out cable from the box.

I do not think Samsung newest A series of phones are not that bad but lacking a (fast)charger(also many competition gives tpu case) and lower specs and higher price compared to competition probably is to blame even thought the update policy is great.

Maybe Samsung should cut those afterthought 2 and 5 megapixel cameras and instead give basic clear tpu case with the phone and a discount when buying phone and a(fast) charger?

That's what Samsung gets after releasing a brilliant phone in late 2021 only to replace it with a subpar one (A52s>A53)

Drop the price to around 70% of their original price, then see how many can be sold

Well removing the 3.5mm jack from midrangers certainly doesnt help. Customers will buy anything oppo or xiaomi as long as they get the features they want.

Well, phones have become quite expensive after 2020 so that comes as no surprise that people aren't buying phones as often. Maybe a discount will lure them

Solution, just sell it a bit lower then the actual price. I'm sure many people would love to buy it 😏

A53 is not at all appealing to the consumers. A73 on the other hand very good device at crazy high price. That's why such situation.
