                      From Philippines:
Just got my new phone Sony Xperia V! I bought it upgraded already to 4.1.2 Jelly Bean, It was very nice! The only thing I noticed about was when I shut it down and turn it on the phone, my sim card was not recognized displaying for emergency calls only, that I needed to restart it again... But the rest in xperia V is excellent! Camera is absolutely great, except for the front camera having VGA only and the battery that will last only a day. Go for Xperia V!

WiFi : go to settings - About Phone - Software upgrade - then refresh to see the latest software available and follow the instructions.

PC : you have to install ( PC Companion Application from Sony Website) then you can connect the device with USB and follow instruction if there any new update.

Note : all data in your device will not be deleted. system will save them .

I have a question, when you want to "upgrade or update" to Jelly Bean 4.1 from Ice-Cream Sandwich, is that something that happens automatically or do you have to update manually? and if manually, then how do you do that?

Hope you can answer me, thanks :)

updated to 4.1.2 on Xperia V, SOD still occurs. might be WiFi issue, cause today had my Wifi on instead of LTE and had the SOD twice.

                              Hello from Greece.
Its three days now that I've got the update!
I can't say that phone its better now.
I've seen some bugs.. First day, I move the device from charger and I put it on my desk.. Screen never came blank(off) it was on for two hours and my battery from 100% went 50%! Also I see some bugs in simple use of the phone, such as in UI, sometimes need to tap twice a folder for open.. Not so good work on jelly been for xperia v!
I'm a fan of xperia phones, but I really need something better, even if that needs to be higher priced!!!

                                From the Philippines:

After updating my Xperia V to Jelly Bean (9.1.A.0.490), I have been experiencing some bugs with the Walkman app.

                                1. At times when the phone is on standby, the next track takes too long to play. There are times that it doesn't play until I wake up the phone.

                                2. When playing music with headphones plugged in, audio sometimes sounds very soft at first then quickly increases in volume. The increase in volume is not gradual.

                                3. When skipping a track, the album art flashes. Some noticeable lags during music playback.
