Who makes these statistics? Its ridiculous. I need 8 TB micro sd and I am sure 99,9999% of tyhe people would prefer to keep all their data with them.

I don't like No Card slot phone..
Because I'm collecting images, Songs, Videos, apps, Document Since 2007.
I'm allmost used all size of micro Car, 128MB To 256GB.
Now I'm planning to buy 512GB MicroSDXC Card.

The Flip, 26 Jun 2022I don't need storage as much as before because I store... moresooner or later, unlimited storage will be removed from old pixel devices & your phone will too die 1 date which would be a result of you needing a big storage phone or a big size sd card or either harddrive.
sd was a proper solution for the same to have your data kept as personal and available to use without even having internet.
what if 1 day you do not have internet connect and you are unable to download any file or what if your phone die which was having 512 gb storage and all your data was saved in the same... ? you would end up having no backup and access of your files at the time when you need.
sd card is must, today if my phone dies i can remove sd card it is on computer, another phone & so on.....
this is all tactics for no adding sd card so that customer buy higher capacity of phone and when they run out of storage they again buy another device which has more higher capacity of storage.
even about 3.5 audio jack port, i have bluetooth neckbank as well as earbuds but if battery runs out and if i am out of option of using them then i also have wired earphones.
this 2 things to add on a smartphone will not cost much to OEMs but if they add then their upcomnig years sales count will go down....
same goes with batteries, removable batteries were good for customer but not for OEMs as customer were not buying new phone but just repalce the battery which would cost less and with that new battery user can atleast last for more 6 months which again decrease there sale number, which reduce their profit, their bank balance.... if that make sense....
I wish and hope, If European Government look into this and make OEMs to keep sd card slot + 3.5 audio jack port one ach and everyphone.

Let me give you an example from my family with 7 phones. Four iPhones, they really don't miss the card. Of the rest two don't need the card since they don't take many photos to fill it, they don't store video or movies, only books and these are really small. I could use it, but with 128 GB storage I have more than 60 % free and for the phone's lifetime I can't ever use the full capacity. By then the 256 GB is going to be standard...
When I look to a wider family, it's the same, 128 GB basic storage is more than enough.

Nokia phones have jack, microSD and Android One software, the 8.3 5G runs the latest Android 12 and has Snapdragon 765G 5G hardware, it's like a Pixel 5 with Nokia hardware, you don't necessarily need a used or old Pixel or a $1,000 Xperia . microSDs are amazing :D

the reason of unsold phones is their complex way of naming their phone and high price too.
but SD card is must, i am a root user, to trasnfer data or to use installation files (rom, magisk, twrp, etc) it helps to keep backup.
if i dont ahv esd card slot in my phone, i f**king need download every file on internet from online storage or get a hang on computer to get access of files from it.
plus, i have 83 gb of studies data which includes software, videos, lecture , note pdf, training simulation altogether + my own photos, movies, music wa;;apers & all so more.
my 256 gb of sd card is almost full (215 gb used/occupied out 256 gb)
no sd card, just say no to that phone for me!!!!

And another one with a Micro SD slot --- See which one sells faster... You are commenting as though you speak for the vast majority of consumers... Higher quality photos & videos (especially) require vast amounts of storage... Micro SD is a cheap alternative to internal storage...
Cloud storage is basically a nicer way of asking you to store your information on third party servers... Nobody really wants it... If you do - Then pay for your cloud storage subscription... And hope and pray there's no breach of security... Everyone wants to be in physical possession of their photos & videos... Not be dependant upon some third party.
