                  So glad I purchased the ROG Phone 2. To me, to this day, it is the best looking model out of all ROG Phones

                    SShock, 24 Jun 2022I'd describe design of this phone as "asymmetric ... moreNot a single ROG phone has had a hole-punch, not even the 5 Ultimate - and judging by the photos, they'll keep using the same thin-ish top and bottom bezels that they've been using for 2.5 generations now.

                    Also I don't think the design looks terrible, although I do think it would look a lot better if the camera island was centered.

                    Also, unrelated to the comment I'm replying to, but remember those leaked ROG Phone 6 and Zenfone 9 sketches that were found in an update for Android 12 in January? Yeah, looks like the ROG6 design seen there is very similar to the one we see here - but there are minor changes, for example the back screen is more centered and to the right now - some design changes happened over the past 5 months, it seems. Also seems to confirm that the Zenfone 9 will have a similar design seen in that leak.

Unless your market doesnt have that model. And its not just Where am from everywhere price is cheap check India, Us, Sea, China etc.

                        I'd describe design of this phone as "asymmetric assassination". Literally nothing on it aligns aesthetically. I can't see it, but I bet even selfie punch hole is not centered, but is somewhere on the side.

                          Looks horrible, tbh. Good thing it can be hidden with professional black cover.

                              Hemedans, 24 Jun 2022Rog phone has never been Expensive, unless you want to Buy ... moreTrue the battery is small, by my colleague has the Edge 30 and it lasts him a whole day with around 6 to 7 hours of screen on time, but the chip inside is power efficient so it makes sense.

                              Also the edge 30 is (over here) in stores to grab for 402 euro at the moment, because it already dropped in price from 449 it launched at.

                              Nothing will be more, and that is fine but the invite system alone doesn't make it worth getting, at least not now.

                              Also them asking money for reservation shows how scummy this is, I wonder if this phone will EVER be sold normally.

                                Let me be clear, ROG phones are expensive in a lot of countries, ROG 5 base model is still 799 euro in my country, 5 Ultimate was never sold and 5S starts at 1040

                                And these are lower prices than at launch, 5 base was 949 euro at launch here.

                                  damn this looks badass, I hope this gets true 3 lenses (main, ultrawide, telephoto). I hate it that all gaming phones I know omitted the telephoto, just put the damn lens, I would pay whatever for it

                                        They should have spent the sources they used for these smartphones for Zenfone series. We're expecting for a proper successor to Zenfone 6. With this design, ROG Phone has even got obsolete and pointless than I would even think they would become.
