not to mention the elephant in the room;awesome support(which htc lacks in both wp and android, samsung also has crappy support for wp) and exclusive apps.

Does an 'African Phone' mean a damned down phone with below average Spec? I live in East Africa and I can comfortably afford any of the Lumia WP8!

Africa only deserves "cheap" custom made phones?!?
Right, not all africans are able to afford the expensive Ativ S's, 8X's and Lumias phones; but Micro$oft could very well launch two different Windows Phones for Africa, one with "midspecs" for the budget market, and another one with premium specs for the african execs.

The only unique extra Nokia windows provide is Nokia dive. samsung and HTC Windows also offer unique Windowss features which Nokia dont have. I.e HTC windows has Beats by dre option.. Its all the same experience regardless of phone manufacturer ;)

Nokia Lumia only provides the most complete Windows Phone experience. There's no point in getting a WP phone that is not a Nokia.
