seems like the different case design of the victor has made it 1.5mm longer, lmm wider, 0.5mm thicker but 12g lighter.

The reason for difference in MP's is that the 3.1 is a beta version and the 3.2 branded is the definitive version of the victor. GOogle on HTC victor and you'll find it out too.

Little differentiating in same model means nothing for some people but there are people who take care of every single detail, any way, as far as I'm concerned with is that I'd much like to have something big, means I'm expecting from htc to present the same spec. & features of Touch Diamond in a model like htc Advantage X7510 or better as the company enjoys a solid innovative background.

this is ridiculous, as a consumer looking for a new phone I had my eyes set on this phone for weeks. through extensive reviewing I've seen complaints that should've been handled before the product was released, battery issues that would cost me more money, and now a new model to compensate for a flawed one.
so really, I've had second thoughts and I've pretty much moved on to find another phone. I was hoping for a quality and unique phone that wasn't part of the iphone or blackberry market.

So much more elegant than that HORRIBLE diamond crap. This is now a respectable looking phone. I didn't like the idea of having to run around looking like a 13 year old transformers fan. Respectfully yours, any person over the age of 15.

gess people, whether they say 3.2mp, 3.15mp, 3.1mp, or 3mp, they all mean the same thing!!!, the pictures are all the same size!!, they just choose to advertise it differently.

.1MP difference is not a big deal, some phones are even advertised as 3.2MP even though its really just a 3MP and people doesn't even notice the difference.
What is really to be taken note of before choosing this phone is the 64mb less RAM and the possibility that there is no graphics accelerator as this would seriously affect the interface. Unless of course if this version is not intended to have the touchflo interface or the animations?
its too bad since i like the look of this phone better than the original diamond.

Ok... Small note... Just wanted to ask, has anyone noticed that the Original P3700 had a 3.2MP cam & the new P3702 has a 3.1MP cam as per the rear side of the phones?
Don't really know if a 0.1MP difference is a LOT?... Don't think so but well that's the only other thing that i noticed different other than the oh so clean looks of the P3702!
Honestly, i hated the look of the original... I would have never bought it... The TyTN 2 is far more of a looker compared to old Diamond & well it has most of the future... That would have been a obvious choice up till now!
