I cancelled it and I was glad I bought some of my music on cd and synced with itunes.
I now use You Tube again, and buy the cd's I want over time.
but I had apple music for 4 years that's £480! I could buy most of the music I want with that money.
So saving up to buy them all over the 6-12 months

Streaming is terrible for the artist but great for the record company and the music listener. The fact that you don't own it most people actually don't care and if you like me if I really like an album I go buy it. All of a sudden people have now woken up to streaming music and what it actually means. In the long run, streaming music was always going to cost the artist more than anyone else. As for owning it, you don't own anything you watch on TV or stream on Netflix, etc yet you pay for it. So maybe you should stop using those services as well. Apple Music and Spotify aren't going anywhere for now. although it's a passionate argument it lacks logic especially when other forms of media are being streamed not just music unless you are now going to say you don't use those. I personally make a point of buying the albums that I really like when I listen to them.

In Poland too. Price went from 9,99 PLN to 11,99 PLN.

This was expected in UK.... Cost of living gone through the roof, inflation is a joke. Take gym supplements for example a 5Kg whey protein shake will set you back £190.. back in September that would be about £75... It's only £1 per month extra,

As for the price bump itself: if they are dumb enough to fall onto those streaming services scam (which also collect your data and make money off from it), then they have no right to complain.
