Grey Wolf, 27 Jun 2022Don't put in the same pot iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus. ... moreYou know that some people don't hang on dumb social media for hours every day? Some mostly use phones for calls and texts and occasionally use maps to get around or browser to look something up and snap a photo. And that's that. So it has 3 hours of SOT. Do the math how long you do above tasks to reach 3 hours of SOT. Even more so if we assume he neer even replaced the battery. Running iPhone 6s for 6 years on first battery is pretty impressive.

Anonymous, 27 Jun 2022Who wrote in the comments that iPhone 8 cannot run smoothly... moreDon't put in the same pot iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus. There is big difference in battery life between them. A phone like iPhone 8, even though still capable in performance, is virtually unusable in 2022, unless you want the basic tasks from a phone. It has around 3h of SoT (without any heavy tasks like gaming). And it takes around 1.5h to charge (with fast charger by the way). So, no.
Even something like iPhone SE 2016 has better battery life than iPhone 8 or iPhone 7, lol. And sadly, is the same case scenario with iPhone SE 2020. Even though this one has slightly better battery life than iPhone 8 or iPhone 7. Still, no more than 3.5-4h SoT.

I don't understand why people will buy this models in 2022. Unless you absolutely love the form factor. But even in this case you have the iPhone SE 2022, which has the best battery from this kind of iPhones. On par with iPhone 12 Mini.

Who wrote in the comments that iPhone 8 cannot run smoothly the latest iOS? This is utterly wrong. The 8 Plus is running iOS 15 perfectly smoothly, even when I’m on lower power mode. Not a single reason for me to give away such a good phone and go spend 1000 dollars for a new iPhone. I don’t consider Android as an option. For me.

Anonymous, 25 Jun 2022Good points. Personally I'd rather buy a mid range Sam... moreFair enough. I just don't like to change my things if they still do the job. Some people love their new android updates, I'm not one of them. I love simplicity and practicallity and changing phones every 2 years is a no no for me, but I understand most of people does just that as they probably buying phones via operater

Anonymous, 27 Jun 2022because ur life soo boring , thats why depends soo much on phone First you don't know me and you can't tell I'm boring or not. Second I'm not a phone user glued with screen all the time. And finally Android makes your everyday tasks simpler but iOS makes everything harder. Remember that. And no. You can't deny that.
