Samsung US sharply discounts Galaxy S22 Ultra, foldables

Foldable phones are pieces of a crap at this point. In the future maybe but now they are not for me. The S22U is just too big bulky and has a curved screen and it is also not good for me. That's why I'm quite happy with my S22+. Maybe if it has a 1440p screen will be even better but is also great as is.

S22U is way too big. Even if I'd try to live with it's size - it is not a pretty phone at all.

Samsung, have some shame, and run these discounts in other countries too. While your A and M series phones are on discounts, most of your S Series aren't.

Not from Samsung. I got my Fold in November 2019 for a discounted price off ebay. It was open box, but it had no crease so it was new. Things are different now for various reasons. Unless I'm getting a new Fold during pre-launch for $1,000 bucks, I would rather take my chance buying it directly from Samsung. They offer a credit and a warranty.

Samsung has been having a sale ever since they first released the fold 3 and especially the galaxy S22. Never buy a Samsung at full retail price.

Samsung only cares for US fans all the time, ignoring the rest of the world. In my country galaxy S21 Fe is still full price including rest of the S, Flip and Fold series. No discount throughout the year till they scrape off last years flagship.
