Teslas support neither Apple's CarPlay nor Google's Android Auto. But the Tesla Android Project aims to change that.

In the land of Tesla a paid update will add features to your car like self driving. So there's frequent unpaid updates makes you feel like they are trying to fix something broken.

    Anonymous, 28 Jun 2022Do upsy for the upgrades or are they free? No charges for these almost weekly updates. Just don't know what they are trying to do, the car drives exactly the same.

              what do you mean "your" Tesla? I don't have one!

                Really hate my Model Y performance "OS" needing to update 3-4 times a month is insane and reeks incompetent. Yes I have had to update the car at least 3 times this month of June. Also updated last month but not as many as this month. I have had the car for about 3-4 months only. AND after an update my stream music account won't work, this always happens after ever update. Can't wait for Apple to throw it's hat in the EV game. Tesla thus far reminds me of beta Android OS.

                    never like Android Auto or Apple car play..Tesla is right not supporting these junk stuff from apple and android. I love enjoying original car infotainment system. my phones stays away from the infotainment system.
