If you look at midrangers in the last two years the overall camera setups have more often than not gone backwards. 3 years ago Huawei was dominating in China and their focus was on cameras. Many upper midrangers from honor and Huawei had 3x zoom or even periscope zoom cameras and Xiaomi and Oppo were doing similar things as they usually just followed Hauwei's lead. Now the focus has switched to screens. More money is being spent on high refresh rate screens and less is being spent on cameras. High refresh rate amoled screens have become the new trend but to maintain prices cuts have to be made and these are being made in camera hardware. Basically, overall prices in China have not changed much. The Chinese rmb has also strengthened though in the last few years against most currencies which means that Chinese phones being sold abroad will be more expensive due to currency issues.

Try 11TPro's telemacro, it is one of the very few proper macros and it is tons of fun, giving lots to be creative about.

xiaomi is releasing more and more flagships every year.this impacts software side negatively. obviously,they cannot keep up with supporting so many devices at once. why still doing the same mistake?

rizki1, 28 Jun 2022It will be expensive because 2 brand names in 1 phone.I think the 12s and 12s pro will probably have the same launch price as the 12 and 12pro. Don't expect them to be more expensive or they won't sell and they will have a lot of competition. The 12s ultra may also start at the same price as the Xiaomi 11 ultra (5,999rmb) but maybe it will go up slightly. Generally flagships in China haven't increased in price this year though so wouldn't expect a huge price increase, maybe 6,499rmb at the very most

Now, even 12 pro, has only 2x.
Companies have become too greedy lately.
