Hmm 🤔 still waiting for decent reviews, drop test, waterproof test, and Jerry... Feedbacks for sure he will get one with all this hype... Many points needs to discussed like is there an IP certification, camera 📷 performance, Nothing OS optimization, battery 🔋 endurance and finally the gimmick LEDs are they really worth investing in this phone 📱 with a price around 400$. Only time will tell lol

I'm sure they could use a more higher end chipset if they want since Motorola is able to sell Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 phones for around $450 in China. Clearly they think it's more important to spend money on marketing than providing the best specs.
Also OnePlus also likes to use the "custom tuned chipset" strategy with the most recent one being Dimensity 8100-Max whose benchmark scores are actually lower than regular Dimensity 8100. Let's hope it's not the same situation here.

Having Qi charging has nothing to do with SoC used.
The new HTC with 695 has Qi, other phones with same Soc do not.
