I would buy the Note 22 Ultra ONLY if it has:
- the SD card slot
- SnapDragon CPU in Europe.
But since those are never going to happen, I'm switching to Sony.
No SD card slot = DEAL-BREAKER!

I don't see any irritating bugs or problem. Yes the battery life isn't the best in the class but its completely fine (maybe my standarts are a bit low, cuz I'm used to previous Notes and a few Pixels/Nexuses), but I can't see how it is a "crappy" model. Pretty sure you haven't used one, just hating on the internet :D

Very strange and musleading article - you should count and compare the S series sell numbers as well, because if you cinsider s22U as a Note 21 only, you where ending with 0 numbers of sells for Galaxy S22U against S21U.
If that is true - the article should include: "decision to transfer Note to S22U also killed S series flagship".

This sounds really low numbers for galaxy s series, especially when s22 and s22+ isn’t selling well. So the sales numbers for all the galaxy s models will be around same than earlier years.
” Samsung shipped only 20 million to 25 million units of the Samsung Galaxy S21 devices in 2021, the report says. This is roughly the same number that its predecessor — the Samsung Galaxy S20 series — managed to achieve in 2020.”

The only flaws in Samsung phones have to do with the Exynos chips. The Snapdragon ones are pretty impressive, and should be used on Flagships until such time as the Exynos chips can actually beat Snapdragon ones. Almost everything else is excellent. And the firmware updates and security are class leading.

Good! you all have a point "what about the s-series sales"
Truth be told,Samsung need to offer more than 1 phone with the s-pen(I believe it's their power just as APPLE with the chipset)
There should be a pro flagship( not plus) with the s-pen slut and a pro version with flat screen avoiding the slut(I.e a STYLUS pro and a NON-STYLUS PRO)
Then improve the ULTRA stylus ability and at least with a notch less display.

There hasn't been a viable Note on the market since the Note 10+. The Note 20 models were very bad, even crappy models with endless quirks and the battery life was, to put it nicely, a total disaster.
The Note 21 models failed completely, so Note fans had to wait years for a successor to come out.
The conclusion that Samsung made the right decision with the S22 Ultra is therefore also total crap.
The right decision would have been to launch only two S22 models and two "real" Note 22 models.
Therefore, it is not surprising that the sales figures of the S (Note) 22 Ultra are high. But the question is how high the numbers really are, because if only 1 million Note 20 models were sold, 2 million is already a 100 percent increase but still very bad.
The old statistician's wisdom "I only believe the statistics I have falsified myself" always applies.

How about if we take S20 Ultra and Note20 combined sales instead? Because S22 Ultra is not that much better than S21 and S20 Ultra in sales.
