Apple or Samsung would have to bring them to the market, as these are the only two brands that sell really really well throughout the world. They have the resources to make a "gaming phone" something that is marketed and pushed properly.
Until this happens, gaming phones will continue to be niche. Which is perfectly fine in my opinion.

Sam... morePeople don't have to be concerned about how much a company is making. It should be how much the customer is paying and if the product is written the money. This phone is priced almost on the same level as the flagships from T1 companies. So after sales services(including updates), should be on par as well.
Ps: maybe not providing support after the sales is the reason why Asus is not making profit like other companies you mentioned

I understand that people think this is expensive but let's put a sense of reality in our mind.
1) This is a gaming phone with high end specs, you cannot expect for them to price all this for $300 and earn something. At the end it's a premium device.
2) iPhone & Samsung Galaxy is not in the same category as ROG, yes they do have a high end chipsets but they're not considered as ,,gaming" phones.
3) I'm not sure about software support but if you care a lot about that then go for Samsung or iPhone, if you want a gaming phone so badly well you can't expect to have everything. Something is always missing from every brand.

LG G7 ThinQ performs well, but that is for the most part due to competent implementation. The measured performance is still far off the specs of the actual DAC chip. The old RME ADI-2 DAC has a much less impressive DAC (AKM 4490) than ESS DACs from that era (2018), yet it measures better than most other devices from back then. Why? Correct implementation.
ESS chips are notorious for bad intermodulation distortion at certain levels. Google "ESS IMD hump". Only good implementation resolves the hump, but most devices using ESS DACs are not good implementations.

But you demand Asus to offer similar software support when they do not make a fraction of the money other make with mobile.

I still dont belived it that samsung didnt release any gaming phone still this date .
Heard abt some rumors about this in 2018s . Samsung have big brand name and good ui and features like Samsung dex , they should take a chance .
