Twitter pursues legal action because they know the site does not have many users it advertises itself as having. Most accounts are novelty, advertising, bots, throwaways, and sides, all of which act in conflict of the primary purpose of a social media platform that is to communicate ideas with others.

more proof how smart Elon is by not doing the deal, not after what he found. Why waste billion$ on a platform ran like sh*t by sh*t.

Wow just said you intend to buy Twitter then ask for data, then decide not to buy & keep the data, what next ? Start your own Twitter alike?
Time for me to said I intend to buy Coca-Cola & get their recipe for analysis & decide not to buy later, next month launch my New Cola...hahaha
Next thing you know I'll be the next richest man on earth

This Bret guy is so stupid. You cannot force anyone to buy stuff from you even though there is a contract. A sale contract can be terminated any time before the payment is made by either party.

Twitter must address the large number of bots, no ifs or buts. It should focus there, instead of censoring political discourse as it did with the Hunter Biden Wuhan Lab stories and the Covid posts suppression that rivaled what China and Russia are doing. I was hoping that Musk will change things for the better, but sadly it won't happen. The tech industry's censorship and the bot armies that can influence public perceptions must be urgently dealt with, or democracy will be the victim.

The smartest people like Thunderf00t said long time ago that Musk does not have the funds to buy Twitter. This whole thing is stock value manipulation similarly to 90 percent of actions.

I find it funny how oddly relatable this is, the only difference being this is a billionaire's game.

Adul Al Salami Kebab, 09 Jul 2022They refused to give him proof it was not x amount of bots!Because going through billions of accounts one by one to see which ones are bots and which ones are not is incredibly easy.

Adul Al Salami Kebab, 09 Jul 2022They refused to give him proof it was not x amount of bots!Nowhere in contract states that the spam is less than 5% all the time, it varies day by day. Now we can see whether Musk is a real billionaire thus to pay one billion dollars fine in cash, not Tesla stock.

He should have switched off the servers before canceling the deal. Twitter isn't worth anything more than the other popular social media.

Well Musi is right and twitter is wrong. If i were Elon Musk would like to fine twitter for their bad behavior and habbits.
There is nothing worse than not giving asked proof and hiding everything they could just to prove he were right.
This twitter they have no right to fine him because he did nothing wrong compared to twitter.
If i were Musk i would send whole twitter to courts and fine them so much tey litterary gives all of their 100% shares for free just to not pay a 1 000 000 times more than is value of whole twitter app.
Glad i dont have any account there now i know i will never ever make any.

He signed a legally binding deal and waved his chance for due diligence before signing it.
He's not going to get out of this easily. He's screwed.

now, Elon might be a raging leftist weeb that believes in tripe like global warming, but this battle for free speech is too important to lose against such a big platform
