Issues:
Appalling battery life
Useless without tethering to iPhone, excluding the majority of smart phone owners
Smart watches still serve no actual purpose, they're a solution looking for a problem
The new Garmin 255/955 are just so much better than Apple for fitness tracking and stats. Not to mention features, battery and push new tech.

siminum, 11 Jul 2022good old Apple jokes...they are targeting Garmin's spo... moreCan Garmin watch make calls through watch with a phone that's 100m away, but connected to same WiFi network? Hell, even things like silencing of phone ringing by covering the watch display with hand becomes such handy feature it's gonna be hard moving to anything else without just that. Garmin latest solar models with touch look really nice, but I have doubts it'll work so well. Which is why I'm also hesitating dropping that much into a watch. And I have plenty of expensive mechanical watches that only tell time, but that was only thing I expected from them and I was fine with it, not so much if smartwatch ends up not being all that smart in the end... I may then just wear that mechanical watch...

If it's too high, then the product is not for you thus no reason to complain, we can all move on.
Neither it is for me, I find smartwatches up to 200 euro already overpriced, let alone this price...

good old Apple jokes...they are targeting Garmin's sports enthusiasts fans..with what? Have they increased the battery life? Does it lasts 2 weeks? Does it have some solar power? You can get last year's 6 Pro Solar for 750$ now (or less). Does it compare to the Garmin Descent for divers?
