How companies build phones
Others: we got new camera tech, cpu, advanced display with high refresh rate, new storage tech, etc etc etc. We need to be ahead of others in market.
HMD: everyone is working on new phone. let me see what is left over from previously planned phones & integrate them in a some old body & launch it.

The problem with T20 was really flaky WiFi that wasn't properly tested in real world conditions. Anything done to fix this in this iteration?

This is a perfect replacement for 7 and 8 inch Samsung tabs with low end ancient quad core processors! Happy that this is more value for money with more optimized software, much better chipset, great battery for its weight (probably the lightest 8 inch tablet with over 5000mAh battery) and the best part is having a torch too!
On a side note, this new camera layout reminds me of older Nokia Asha phones with a camera at the top left corner. I personally prefer the pill shaped camera which was there since Nokia 6610i and copied by other brands from Apple to Xiaomi and even Samsung.

Try to keep the screen,
1. But change camera to dual lens, 8mp + 8mp ultra wide.
2. Snap 4xx, Snap 6xx
3. 32gb, 128gb, 256gb, 512gb, 1TB
Probably to support custom storage size for consumer? Online sales?
It can become a good Kids/Grandparents phone.
Larger, ease of access, watching Netflix, keeping photos and video.

Hmd global is choosing too use
Chinese technology lacking in many features and support for modern technologys and only support emmc storage

Does look like a really nice tablet this one does look like better value then the T20 tablet with years of software updates this tablet is generally future proof for a really long time the hardware does look really good as well
Too me it looks like a really premium tablet like the T20 but at a better price
I hope we get even more budget friendly tablets from the Nokia brand great if you can afford it
Maybe a T5 or T2 would be good also
This tablet more expensive than some of Nokias smartphones
The xgodly tablet or q88 tablets do come too mind when I look at tablets that are budget the catch with them is though there often running out dated versions of Android but do have affordable prices like 30-50 pound roughly

Because then they would be tablets and not phones.... If you like tablets with phone capability, there lots to choose from.
The rest of us prefer something... mobile... easy to carry around, pocketable, so we will stick with a phone.
