TheAlienNextDoor, 13 Jul 2022I'm a geek and love technology, and even I don't ... moreI personally love having a tablet sized device I can fit in my pocket, yes it has bulk but I can carry it all the time and when I want to take notes it's a far more convenient form factor than a note or s22

All those who don't see the point in foldables, wait till you hold one, or get a chance to use one briefly.

It's all about consumer choice, and props to Samsung for making the Flip3 like a Tank.

Why would i give it a try when even 99.9% of Android users aren’t? 😅

It’s just a product most don’t want or need and the sales pretty much shows that.

Of all time? 😂😂😂 That for sure isn’t true

      ” Motorola RAZR V3
The best selling flip phone is the Motorola RAZR V3, released in 2004. It sold over 130 million units.”

You sound like an average clueless Android user

Samsung and every android developers: Develops phone to save space while getting bigger screen

Western Trolls: I'll never buy something like that. I hate innovation and real features. I love gimmicks and these developers shouldn't bother trying since we already have this fruit phone. Fruit phone is the best no matter what.

Fruit phone: releases the same damn phone for nth time with a few gimmicks

Western Trolls: so beautiful so gorgeous. Nothing can beat this phone.

And that $300 one, that is "parts only" which means it was totalled. One can find just any phone for cheap that way when it was extensively used and has hardware and cosmetic issues. Doesn't mean anything

Well there are issues with current foldables but at least they tried to introduce something innovative and for most part it did perform well, except that, foldables are very fragile currently. One drop and the display is gone forever but again, this happens with every phone today

Anonymous, 13 Jul 2022"i still don’t see any kind of buzz around foldables&q... moreWhy? I'm IPhone user and i think foldables break more than they fix, i don't see any real reason why i would buy foldable, if i would want one i would buy second hand flip z 3 for my second phone which is crazy cheap because so many is selling them because for some reason they didn't want to keep them. Propably noticed all the shortcomings?

Apple might never release one if they can't fix the shortcomings of foldables and Apple is looking if there's even demand for such a product. I haven't seen that there is and reasons are because current smartphone form factor is lot better and more usable.

They should put a little bit biger battery and a third lens- zoom lens. People today are looking a lot for a lot of money. Sorry but is like that. Pay more ask more.

I'm a geek and love technology, and even I don't see what's so great about foldables.
They're a niche product that caters to hipster-wanna-be-geeks like MrMobile. People who know just enough to read the spec sheet, but care about their hair than the SOC in the phone. And I don't mean that as an insult. I love MrMobile, and love the innovation these foldables have brought to the table. They're just not what the majority of normies want, nor are they for real geeks like myself. I'll stick to my S22 Ultra.

You will, when the apple foldable comes out. Suddenly all of apple guys will go crazy

I have a feeling Samsung will have very rude awekening when they release these, i still don’t see any kind of buzz around foldables, not even in tech sites like this, the interest here has been basicly muted. It feels same when Samsung wanted to make Mobile VR popular when almost no-one cared and yet they pushed it so hard and then it just vanished. I see second hand stores full of these foldables all the time with very very cheap pricetag, is the novelty gone already?
