In this case.... BBK owned companies (vivo, OPPO) doing the same offense repeatedly and deliberately.... So we call it... as a Unfair Trade Practices from BBK..... TO manipulate and defraud their customers and country to evade tax and do anti national activities.

India's pro-right government is against Chinese by all means, however they'll not lose out a single opportunity to earn money, which is what this may be. And I would've taken your opinion, but you see even Xiaomi got similar trouble from Indian authorities. Mi is not BBK.
On the flip side, there's not a single privacy focused Chinese brand in market yet, except maybe Nokia which isn't pure Chinese anyways.
All chinese phones filled with bloatware, every Camera, music, calculator app having its own privacy policy. Mi ID, Vivo ID, Oppo ID, Oneplus ID, they're all connecting each available info.
You wouldn't believe some of these phones lag and hang when phone dialer is popped up. Its a Snapdragon 6 or 7 series chipset I'm talking about,
Personally, I would love to have them out of my country. They've spread like a cancer, everyone buys them without even knowing what performance is.

Vivo was showing losses and didn't pay taxes(they have been hiding that for many years and evading by showing that they are in loss) and silently transferred money(big amount) to China.
