Don... moreSamsung always produced more series of phones from low end to the most powerful beasts.
And it seems that with more and more markets going some specific way, it's going to be even more series. Even in the times when Samsung dropped names in favor of letters, they had at least three major series (S, A, J), with some "off-series" phones like C or Z series.

Its more like why A series budget phones when there is M series.
I can't afford an A series phone at any range. When I have low budget needs, I will go with M series phones and when I have high budget will go with last year S series.
So if Samsung is going to keep only one of the A or M series, I would prefer A series to be put to death.

But they are cheap in Asia . Not everyone is rich or live in rich countries like yours . Our govt slaps 20% tax on smart electronics . Without m and f series most people here can't access a smartphone that gives 3 years of updates . Samsung is the only option ( there's Nokia , but people have lost faith , including me ) . So kindly don't complain .
