I used the stock one on the original Flip for 1.5 years and it looked clean as a whistle when I sold it. The original one had a hard to remove protector, but it was self healing. The Flip 3 has a user replaceable screen protector.

      1tb storage ftw

Don't think I would buy another flop series phone from Samsung. S22 with it's deep discounts is the bargain of 2022.

I really hope the big crease in the middle of the screen is gone. It's extremely annoying when light reflects from it.

After 418,000 folds they gave up on breaking the display. During the week they filled the hinge with a vacuum cleaner full of dirt, they submerged it in sub zero ice water, they tried everything. After that amount of folds, which would equal around 12 years of real life usage they started doing harsh drop tests on concrete and it took them 14 drops until the display cracked. They're making these foldables a lot more durable than any other flagship device on the market. By a wide margin: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k86vsQEDKlg

Can iOS users even relate ? Customisations, themes etc. The answer is NO because they're stuck with the same stuff ever year haha

I am mad at Samsung. The folding display seemed like it self destructed at 9 months and they refused to warranty it. $560 repair. I will never again pay $2k for a phone.

well android is for advanced users anyways, so doesn't matter what's your reason to avoid it

That's no big deal when iOS itself is pretty simple when compared to Android which is a lot more sophisticated, advanced and customisable and also comes in a lot of different versions, like stock or customised etc. So, it is not possible to replicate the exact same settings on an another phone and that's why Android users have to do that all over again. That being said, Android does offer backup and restore options but those work the best on phones from same company. That's the reason why on an iPhone it's easy because apple is the only company making iOS devices unlike android where many others are involved so cross compatibility issues can exist

Wait what? My iPhone does all this just in background by itself. When i want to upgrade my phone and move things to new phone it makes exact copy of my old iPhone, even if i have half wroted message written in message app it is in my new phone waiting to be send.

The Flip 4 to me is like what the iPhone 13 mini is to the 12 mini. Essentially the same phone but much better battery life. If Samsung offers a good trade-in for the Flip 3, I might consider trading in mines. But I'm pretty content with my 3 as I only use it to play my favorite video games, watch TV, and I don't want to keep changing phones.

It's getting tiresome always changing phones and re-doing everything again with the arrangements I want and downloading the same apps. But again, the Flip 4 looks way better for battery life like the 13 mini is over the 12 mini. That alone is worth considering to upgrade while the Razr 3 is stuck with the same 2800 mAh.
