Anonymous, 18 Jul 2022As expected… mediocre phone with useless childish backlight... morelike who would need LED lights on the back when everyone would just put a cheap case that covers everything in the back or they just put the phone face up to screen.

you have to suffer, 18 Jul 2022people would still think that why samsung phones are expens... moreI mean both Apple and Samsung sell millions on smartphones, and if you consider how little amount of phone, compared to sales numbers have green tint issues.
Yeah
I like OLED but I rather have a good IPS in a cheap phone, than a OLED with green tint, however Nothing Phone is NOT CHEAP for what you get, and they even said to use a more expensive screen.
Seems like all PR talk, which makes this situation even worse.

Anonymous, 18 Jul 2022Funnily enough, it's the known flaw of the OLED displa... moreIPS LCD is superior to Amoled. The only advantage of amoled is deeper blacks but that's not worth all the problems that come with amoled. The only reason makers push amoled is due to planned obsolescence. They know LCD lasts for way longer so they push amoled to get people to replace their phones every 2 years because by then burn in on amoled will be starting

Anonymous, 18 Jul 2022Nope, they should switch to high quality OLED instead of ch... moreEven high end panels can have this issue.
But it feels like since high refresh OLEDs are a thing, that green tint issues became more common, compared to when stuff was 60hz.
Of maybe it's just a coincidence and companies started to care less at the same time.

Anonymous, 18 Jul 2022Nope, they should switch to high quality OLED instead of ch... morethey should use samsung's super amoled instead of amoled from visionox. but to avoid this kind of issue i think the company should use IPS because its just a midrange phone at all. flagships should deserve high quality amoled.

Lol, mind you this is the company that confidently said they're making an iphone alternative cuz android smartphone companies are not invoating anymore yet they couldn't even make a simple functional android phone...i don't know what type of delusional company is this, i feel bad for people who aren't smart enough to know that this is BS and believed in this irrelevant company.
What makes yall think that start-up company with a few hundreds of engineers will beat a worldwide top brand like Samsung that has hundred thousandths of engineers and +20 years of experience in the field ? Embarrassing if you ask me.
