    Wow 😲😳 am very happy 😁 about the launch of harmony os 3.0 I know it will be amazing,am a very big fan of Huawei, and I know some day Huawei will be the number 1phone in world 🌍,thank you Huawei, you guys are doing wonderfully well,am planning to buy an Huawei phone 📱, when I have money, love 💕 you guys.

            Anonymous, 18 Jul 2022You do realize it's still Android under the hood?Of the HarmonyOS devices that I have, only one is based off Android AOSP (a MatePad) and even that Android has a completely revamped networking stack.

            The rest are not based on AOSP.

                Is Harmony OS ever going to get a global release?
                They have backtracked on their "promises" to support older devices and global devices so many times that I don't think they will ever actually release anything for the west

                      I got Harmony on my Mate 20X and i like much more vs my S22 ultra for sure. You don't need extra apps to do things on the front start site.
                      Much more flexibility and more smoothly to.

                          Anonymous, 18 Jul 2022You do realize it's still Android under the hood?It is a forked Android that is for sure, but the changes are mostly under the hood, like them using there own Kernel. This results in a much less use of the basic Linux kernel and at the same time "decreases" the change of security loop holes that the Linux kernel suffers. There is some compatibility issues using Harmony OS apps directly on a Android running device, showing there is some elements changed in the code of the android architecture. This would lead to a conclusion there is a change in the code almost like how android is a forked version off linux.

                            I am a fan of Huawei, but this news really doesn't get me excited for the reason Harmony OS is not avaliable outside of China, yet they make it global news. I know it avaliable on smartwatches, but I am talking about phones, especially all the old phones getting updates. Oh well here is hoping to a global release.
