I kind of wish they made the phone shorter and kept the 6.2" screen after yeeting the chin. All the phones too long to easily reach the top one handed these days. I hoped foldable phones would help that.

I know, I know, can't please everyone!

Anonymous, 21 Jul 2022Such a bummer they're losing the classic razer design.... moreExactly. The 2020 razr looks wonderful, sleek, sharper, and professional. The 5G one looked more like toy to me to be honest. This 3rd razr better but I don't know. I have Hope for it though

Thi... moreI just use 1 oppo find X5 which has 30-40% battery left even after 4-5 hours of non stop gaming some days, constant YouTube in the background/watch series/films plus Bluetooth speaker/headphone listening and it performs better than every device you have. Just buy a tablet and keep 1 of the flip phones, what an awkward way to do things (5 phones).

I think first and 2nd Razr is Moto unique. This new razr design looks incoordination. Removing the chin, additional space on top part, make it looks like outdated tick border. Lost taste of Moto. Why don't keep old design, just upgrade inner hardware.

                            So...
Nothing is special anymore with Razr

I'll give the Razr 2019 and 2020 a 9/10 in design. This one won't be called Razr 3 but Razr (2022). I'll give it a 6/10 in design. It's not as symmetrical as the previous two and lost the iconic RAZR chin. I don't like the cameras at the bottom right. Flip 3 & 4 has it that way too but still looks nicer. Just something about this design doesn't really click with me.

My usage is like this: Razr 5G has my sim. It's my daily driver even with the weaker SoC. Flip 3 is the gaming phone. I also enjoy watching 4:3 content from it in Flex. When I get home at 10 pm, Flip 3 still has 60% battery left. Razr is anywhere between 40%-60%. Then I charge the two and use my Pixel 3, Essential PH-1, or iPhone SE1 at night while they charge. It prolongs each phone's lifespan by using different phones.

This is the phone I actually want more over the Flip 4 because the Razr 5G needed a flagship SoC. But I absolutely hate its design and how it's still packing 2800 mAh while needing to power 120 Hz. Battery life should be atrocious on this with the bigger internal and external displays. Flip 4 looks to be the winner in the next round. Hard to overlook a 900 mAh bigger battery.

Larger cover display, a better inner display without the chin, Snapdragon 8+ gen 1 instead of the midrange chips like the previous models and a rumoured price tag of £1,150. This looks to be a very good competition for the z flip 4.
