I do not defend the brand, here i defend the Developers because i respect their hard and complicated work they do. My self working in a software Firma, i pretty much know how something quite unespected comes up, when you fix this and that brake's that and this. So if you do not know, better shut it and have respect, bacause of them you can use a smartphone and receive updates faster then never before. There were times when a software update would take Months or even years. Nothing is for grated, so stop taking everything for granted. Even the "big" guys have software bugs in their systems.

The changelog says so; 🔒fixed a lock screen bug tha... moreYou should be thankful that they have given update and fixed the issue.Software bugs are present in every phone of every brand from flagship to lower end.Atleast they are solving them quickly and they are not afraid to mention the problems unline some brands those who only write "Optimized overall performance" rather than mentioning the exact fixes that are being given.Learn to appreciate the efforts they have prob they are saying it openly and fixing them what more do you want??

            The only thing that I hate more than my current phone is my next phone. It's going to cost more yet have fewer usable features. WTF is up with the regression in storage, GPS precision, and 5G support? Does a faster CPU cost so much that everything else is thrown away?

              Hell, at least the grammar from the changelog looks better than the other changelogs of other OEMs

                    You ship a phone with such a bug. It tells something about your software team. This reminds me of OnePlus all over again. It's such small bugs that ruin user experience & especially when updates stop or you have to live with such a bug for a long time to be fixed or not. I wouldn't be surprised if in the next update they won't be another bug fixes. Fix some bugs introduce new ones then release Nothing phone 2

                      The bug fixes in the chagelog were they there when the phone launched? Update so soon you wonder how much testing was done.

                              no matter how much in-house or out in the real world testing there always means for improvement.

                                Worst phone in history. And the fact there seems to be 2 articles a day about this rubbish is getting annoying.

                                  too much bashing here, if you don't like the phone or cannot afford it, then be it.. no one is forcing you to buy... just be happy there are actually more choices for consumers after LG's and Nokia/Sony reduced presence... and Oneplus' oppofication

I thought Oneplus was horrible but this Nothing phone (1) took the number 1 spot at being the worst phone of the year big time.The Nothing phone (1) is just awful and total waste of money to buy this piece of garbage phone.🤡😂😱

I’m now looking for a new midrange phone that can take good enough pictures, has a good design without tacky flashy style like many phones from Chinese company and is guaranteed with at least 3 years of os updates from now or until android 15. The new iPhone SE is a no for me since it has a too little screen, also, not a fan of Samsung phones tho, the S21 FE is a miss for its battery life and A53 is not really good because of its processor.
