Anonymous, 10 Feb 2013Whatever you say samsung is still ugly.And whatever you say, the Xperia series lack in battery stamina from all the previous models. I hope to be wrong with the XZ. I want to see it operate at least 10 hours of continuous usage with that 400+ ppi screen.

Someone had written below about the the drops of his both notes with no injury to the phone.. I think you are just trying to create stereotypes about the build quality.. However, s3 is little more fragile but note 2 is awesomely strong.. S2 was also great and durable.. And it's about trust.. More people trust Samsung as for buying smartphones.. It's the package of trust, features and hype that galaxy holds.. And ftw for the samsung marketing team..

I have yet to see an Xperia that lasts at least 10 hours of heavy usage. By heavy, I mean with internet on and downloading torrents while browsing.
"Ugly design" - that's not a real point and is subjective from person to person. Millions bought and does that mean that those millions of people had no taste in design? Ans the Xperia series does not have a Wacom stylus system which I need to do some art work. The Note series happens to be the only one that has that - I'm loyal to the technological innovation, not the brand name sake.
"Not a good build" - I've dropped my Note 1 several times and the Note II once now. They haven't cracked or dented with a soft cover. Who in their right mind goes without at least a thin cover with their units now? With Sony's sharper corner design, that's prone to be more damaged in a fall.
With a 400+ ppi screen, I would think Sony had the sense to provide a removable battery at the least. The power longevity of how one full charge remains to be seen with the XZ. I was their long time customer of 10 years +, but their battery efficiency sucks big time. I can probably swim back to see what they're offering once that is resolved.

I know you prefer xperia z but Sony haven't reached that level to match galaxy.. 2012 results of both companies have proved so far.. 2013 will prove again.. Sammy can beat Sony easily... Hahaha

I have seen cases in most phone, and and note 2 looks elegant with official flip cover. The only thing I like in Sony is their water and dust resistant but it's sad that accidental drops can create water leaks and void the water resistant feature.. Gnote 2 is selling so I think there are millions of people who prefer sammy's design. ALSO the brand value of samsung is way better in the Android world.. Sony is just trying their luck..

For better quality only Sony is best. Only updates is faster in Samsung but display,sound, and build quality Sony and iphone only best.pls don't compare Samsung with Sony and iphone. You may compare with Chinese mobile.
Samsung say battery ill for 20 hrs is S3 but only for 9 hrs. But Sony says 7 hrs and battery last for 8 hrs. What a cheating company.
