But heating and throttling is something I blame Qualcomm more for, at least their choice of foundry... and it does have a decent set of video recording modes and all. So, we're using the horsepower somewhere. 8K is there, 60 fps in lower res is there.

Largely useless.
Flagship chipsets are great when they come from companies like LG, Sony, Apple, etc. and to a huge extent Samsung. But Chinese.. ? Huawei/ Vivo/ Nokia are exceptions but others are useless...
The video recording modes are likely to be limited to 4K30 if you're lucky, or else maybe 1080p. Slow motion will be above 960 fps, but it would be fake i.e. AI generated frames inserted in between, I've seen it.
Finishing won't be there. UI will be an overbloated privacy disaster.
The last awesome flagship from Mi was Mi 12 Ultra. Rest all is just cost cutting and beast chaining and taming (basically huge undeutilisation of SD 8 Gen 1).
If you're regularly into super high end games, then good. Otherwise, you'll find an unfinished product.

Errrr. Did i read it right??? 200 Mpix camera paired with a low grade 8 and 2 mpix shooter???
Its a little late for 1st april jokes.
On the other hand for price of Sony Xperia Pro 1 i mean 1800 euros they could make unbelievable device because if Sony were making this with this specs they would already give 2500 price tag same goes for apple and at least 2200 in case of samsung.
