IMHO Apple doesn't need to add anything to sell phones. Apple does't even sell phones, or tablets. They sell luxury items. Most people buy them so they can brag and bully others for using Android. Look up kids being bullied in schools because their text bubles are green.

Even though it has amazing viewing angles, bright enough for any conditions, dark enough for any conditions, amazing blacks despite being an LCD and it's sharp enough that I don't see any jagged edges anywhere without pixel peeping? It's funny how you're all hating on things just because they have small numbers on paper without knowing how it works for OTHER people. LOL

Turns out it's great and does its job not just well enough but great. So, yeah, specs mean absolutely nothing and I know that from experience. And you believe it's great on your phone just because you know it has X panel with Y pixels running at Z refresh rate.

You guys really need to start doing some research and understand that there's more to the smartphone area than Samsung and Apple. I understand Samsung and Apple have basically a duopoly on the high-end smartphone market but this is an extremely bad thing, as it cements their positions in such a way that other players can't compete.
What really should happen is a cultural split, where many Apple and Samsung users sell their phones and switch to Asus, Oppo, Xiaomi, Nokia, Sony etc.

It never really mattered prior to Apple making a big fuss about it, but it's made to inherit a FOMO factor inside users to get them to upgrade to the latest model and be happy about it.
Yeah, software updates exist, but so do custom ROMs, browser updates, rolling releases like Arch, rolling back to previous versions and lite variants.
The same people who were complaining about Windows Vista ten years ago are now making a fuss about the latest iOS version that brings features no one asked for.

The difference will be, that your last Android phone was maybe 5 years ago (if not even more), my last iPhone was last year. Basically, Android has changed very much since 5 years ago (is far more stable). So, the fact that you are saying a lot of bad things about Androids, based on your experience, is not that relevant.

I mean really good. I remember they gave me something like 150EUR discount for S21. And for S21+ and S21 Ultra models they gave 200EUR and 250EUR discounts. And that was 3 months after release.
When I went at some point in iStyle and asked them for some discounts, the guy there literally say to me "Discounts, what discounts?". Lol. I remember I bought the iPhone 12 with full price, 0EUR discounts.
You may say that iPhones don't need discounts, because people will buy them even like that. In the end, we are the st*pid ones, for accepting this. Well, I didn't accept it anymore, so that is why I moved on.
