The same people who criticize pixels in this thread are the same people who put the G-camera in their $250 Chinese phone because the default camera sucks! haha they look so pathetic haha

I am looking forward to the new Google pixel 7/7 pro luckily I was 😎smart enough not to buy the Google Pixel 6/6 pro and 6a with all the 😱issues affecting the Pixel 6 series. 🤫I wait at least 1 to 2 months before any new smartphone or tablet so if they are any major issues within that time frame before buying it I can decide whether it's worth buying or not. Google makes the best android smartphone period with no bloatware and instant major software update with no long 3 to 6 months of waiting time.🤡😋😇

Grey Wolf, 02 Aug 2022I think some people are considering bloatware every app tha... moreon my note 10pro i managed to remove 90% of xiaomi and google's blotware, on most phones its basically impossible to do so, and for me i consider most apps as bloat, even chrome is one, cause millions do not use it ... just hope the eu will do something about bloats that come with phones and pc's so i can import one with eu rom, also, do ios users think their iphones are free from bloatware or they just keep focusing on android...

But good point, if Samsung pay or Samsung messages or whatever, is considered bloatware on Samsung phones, why is not Google pay or Google messages considered bloatware on Pixel phones?
In this regard, bloatware should be every app that you install on your phone. You want some new browser (Mozilla, Opera, etc.), that is bloatware, because you are not using Chrome. You want some new music player, that is bloatware because you are not using YouTube music. Etc.
Also, majority of that "bloatware" on Samsung or Xiaomi or whatever phones, can be easily uninstalled or disabled. Job done.

Not a big fan of stock Android. Used recently a Motorola Edge 30 and it was quite boring for me (returned after 2 weeks). Even Apple with its closed system, looks more refined than stock Android.
One Ui and MiUi are best skins in my opinion. Also Realme Ui looks nice. Of course, not talking about budget models. I am talking how those skins look and feel on mid-range and flagship phones.
And seeing that just about everywhere people are disappointed in the Pixel 6 series, I don't see how this will change in Pixel 7 series.
The only positive things that I could think of in buying a Pixel phone are the camera (which is one of the best ones, especially in night) and the fact that you get latest software first (not 2, 3, 6 months after it's released by Google). Not enough, in my opinion.

Decided to try a pixel phone 6 on day of release, it’s been one step forward and three steps backwards with each update, couldn’t connect to mobile network or Wi Fi doesn’t work plus the finger print reader is a joke, not going to buy another Google phone,
Lucky I kept my I phone SE in reserve otherwise no phone after pixel updates time to buy an SE 2022 at least it never failed to work.

I hope that Google solves the camera issues of the Pixel 6 Pro:
-live photos have no sound
-no high resolution modes
-very aggressive and irregular noise reduction, in perfect light conditions there is a lot of irregular luminance noise reduction, in bad light conditions without Night Sight, but with a high brightness/shadows slider setting, there is a lot of aggressive color noise reduction, even though the raw files show that this isn't necessary, previous Google phones (for example Nexus 5x HDR+ On mode or also Pixel 3a) didn't apply so much noise reduction even though they captured much less light
-digital zoom produces extremely artificial results that can be often worse than traditional digital zoom, high resolution modes of the sensors are ignored
-artifacts or dead pixels can be visible, sometimes even the raw files suffer from bad artifacts
-Night Sight takes too long and often produces blurry images
-Google's camera app doesn't let you manually choose the exposure time per frame
-3rd party apps can't use the periscope camera in manual mode and also can't save periscope dng files
-low brightness slider setting + high shadows slider setting uses far too short exposure times, therefore the camera doesn't capture enough light for the shadows and this can make the shadows look terrible
-periscope camera has a bad autofocus
-Photo Sphere doesn't work with the periscope camera
-astrophotography mode has no option to reduce the exposure time per frame when using the periscope camera , this leads to star trails
-portrait mode is bad, you also can't use the portrait mode without a crop and you also can't use the periscope camera in portrait mode, there is no portrait video mode either
-long exposure mode is unrealistic because the effect isn't always applied to all moving objects
