Why are samsung products so costly

We haven't just magically bypassed battery chemistry and physics. I've been using such charging regime on my phone for last 4 years and battery health is still at 94% and I can't really sense any difference in how long battery lasts. Yeah, I'll stick with this charging method because the battery just lasts so much longer.

              I stand by what I said, whole 40% ~ 80% doesn't work.

And if someone believes it does, well that is up to them to keep thinking that, not going to change other people their minds if they are set to a specific mindset no matter what.

Will buy Samsung watch when I afford S series. Now using A52 and Mi Band 6.

Deep discharge as well as full charge and potentially sitting at full charge for extended periods of time (over night charging) are the worst for battery health.

Galaxy Watch line ended for me. Watch4 was disaster, switched to Garmin and it has everything I need. Granted, keyboard typing would be nice, but it's minor setback. Never used Assistant, or other smart features really.

companies prefer the users to buy a new devices every year. Don't forget that the battery warranty is 6-12 months

Discharging too much can damage a battery, but I mean really discharging and not what some claim with "being under 40%"

I tried these techniques multiple times, some devices I just charged up to full from mostly around 15% (a lot of devices tend to give a low battery message by then)

Other devices I charged by the principle of "keep it between 40% and 80%"

Conclusion was that it didn't matter, it feels like your battery lives longer but it does not, because you artificially try to keep it on a certain battery level and in the end the result is exactly the same like with regular charging.

because with Wear OS it is fast discharging too..

Glass will be damaged faster too. Watch 4 classic was the last smart watch Samsung cared about.

Can any existing Galaxy Watch user confirm whether Samsung's watches also have charge limiting like they have on their smartphones? I've been charge limiting my Apple Watch 5 to 80% since day 1 and it kept battery health under control much better. But I had to do it manually using Juice Watch app that just notifies me that it has charged to 80%.

Would be cool if the watches had hard limiter too just like their phones.
